As a church we support and are actively involved
in a variety of outreach and mission areas.
Some are listed below:
UMCOR "Fair Trade" Coffee Project
When you buy Fair Trade products, you are in mission!!
You are helping the small farmers in Central American
get a fair price for their produce.
Food Bank
Folks bring canned and boxed foods weekly
for the Food Bank.
UMCOR – Health Kits
Health kits were put together locally and
sent to the disaster distribution center.
“Nothing but Nets”
African mission for malaria prevention.
Blackfeet Parish
A “mitten tree” is set up each Christmas
to provide the children with hats and mittens.
A variety of other projects for the Blackfeet Parish
happen during the year.
Intermountain Children’s Home
Sunday Mission Basket celebration offerings go to Intermountain,
which is a specialized home for children
with severe problems who come from homes of
abuse, neglect, or other circumstances.
Yellowstone Conference Per-Member Askings
We collect “Coins for Mission” each Sunday in worship for our PMA’s.
These are specific places of local mission and ministry
in our Conference including the
Rocky Mountain College Chaplaincy,
Blackfeet Parish, Campus Ministry,
Congregational Development, and Christian Education.
Care Packages
Special cards and boxes filled with treats
are sent twice each year to our
congregation’s young people who are attending
colleges and universities nationwide
or in the military.
Adopted Family
On an ongoing basis
we adopt families in the Choteau area
which need assistance with basic needs.
Teton County Dept of Child & Family Services
We contribute money yearly
to assist the critically important work
of this office.
Choteau Ministerial Association
We contribute money yearly
for the assistance ministry for transients
through the Choteau Ministerial Association
in conjunction with the Sheriff’s Dept.
